Enjoying the Beach[/caption]Well I was at the beach this weekend working on my tan, but I wasn’t in California, I was in Chicago. This was my first time going to the beach here and I was amazed. I learned that Lake Michigan is the 6th largest freshwater lake in the world and just like in California it is so huge I can’t see across to the other shore so it seems just as endless as the ocean.

The bad news is that glasses won’t make any difference in my vision with this condition. So I bought some glasses anyway with clear lenses so I could just look sexy, what do you think?

Noisy Monkey[/caption]This weekend, I took time out of my busy schedule because my friend invited me to the Lincoln Park Zoo. He told me that it was free and I can’t turn down a cheap date.
Once we were there, we realized why it’s free - there are no animals! I’m not sure if it was because of the scorching heat or what, but half the enclosures were empty. That was pretty disappointing. Thankfully the primate section was all stocked up with monkeys - those guys are my favorite.
I bet you guys didn’t know that Rise of the Planet of the Apes is one of my all-time favorite movies. You should check out my old blog where I reviewed the movie. Anyway, it was a hot, fun day and I’m glad I took a break to be a little spontaneous.
